Suzuki Invades Koronadal Motorcycle Festival

Suzuki Philippines invades one of this year’s biggest motorcycle riders gathering that is the Koronadal Motorcycle Festival 2017. The week-long event was held in conjunction with the annual National Convention of National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs of the Philippines (NFMCP) and was held at Koronadal City on April 24 to 30 with the theme: Ride for Culture, Ride for Peace hosted by NFMCP and the South Cotabato Motorcycle Clubs (SMCP). 

Suzuki joined the activity through display with its partner dealer MUTI, hosting of Learn to Ride Seminar and Suzuki Biker Babe Contest with fun games on the side and providing a brand new Raider R150 as raffle item. With its current Guinness World  Records for the Largest safety riding lesson, Suzuki Philippines hosted a Safety Riding Seminar by the Suzuki Safety Riding Authority instructor Mr. Sherwin Florendo. The Suzuki Biker Babe contest was won by Ms. Patricia Gomez. A lot of fun games and activities were also held during the whole event. Mr. Noel Ureta, a public servant of the city was the lucky one to take home the brand new Raider R150 during the raffle.

Action-packed Wheeltek-suzuki Raider R150 Track Day Held In Tarlac

It was an action-packed weekend as Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation and Suzuki Philippines Inc. held the first ever Raider R150 Track Day at the Tarlac Circuit Hill on May 28, 2017 which was attended by hundreds of club and independent riders. Known for creating so many firsts in the country’s motorcycle community, Wheeltek, in partnership with Suzuki Philippines gave opportunity to everyone to try the Raider R150 on the racetrack for free.

The activity aims to gather all riders to feel the power and test the performance of the Underbone King on the circuit. And the more than 400 riders (both Suzuki and non-Suzuki users) took this chance to experience the highly acclaimed motorcycle which has been dominating the streets for more than a decade already. The riders geared up and owned the racetrack during their 10-minute lap with much enthusiasm. Understanding that the Raider R150 is a fast motorcycle they went to familiarization on the first laps then proceeded to their comfortable speed on the next ones.

On top of the free track ride, Wheeltek and Suzuki also prepared a lot of other exciting activities for the participants such as custom-bike contest, stunt shows, dance performances, games as well as photo op with Suzuki ladies. A special promo on the Raider R150 was also offered by Wheeltek with low downpayment of Php 5,900 (from usual Php 9,900, promo is until June 2, 2017) and a free polo shirt plus the existing Suzuki free full face helmet and riding jacket. Complete line-up of Suzuki products were also seen on display as well as the highly anticipated big bikes to arrive this year – GSXR1000R and the SV-650A.

Suzuki Safety Riding Authority Chosen By Sumi Philippines For Their Safety Advocacy Program

Sumi Wiring Systems Philippines Corporation (Sumi Philippines) has chosen the Suzuki Safety Riding Authority to conduct a safety riding seminar as part of the former’s Safety Program. The Safety Riding Clinic happened in one of the plants of SUMI Philippines at Hermosa Ecozone in Bataan with more than 900 registrants.

The short yet comprehensive safety riding course covered traffic rules, proper riding concepts as well as guidelines on responsible riding conducted by Suzuki Safety Riding Authority specialists Mr. Noel Villapando and Mr. Sherwin Florendo. Suzuki Philippines is currently the Guinness World Records holder for the Largest safety riding seminar.

A product presentation and free test ride of the Raider R150, Address and Gixxer were also conducted. The program was graced by SUMI Philippines Sr. Vice President for Human Resource Administration & Production Control Mr. Eric V. Mercado and well supported by their Safety Department under their Safety, Health and Environment Supervisor Ms. Lynie V. Paciente. Suzuki Philippines’ Motorcycle Sales and Marketing General Manager Mr. Jun Bulot also graced the event with his presence.

In grateful recognition of Suzuki with Sumi Philippines’ invitation, the brand also brought giveaways including action camera and shirts which were raffled off for the participants. Suzuki’s partner dealer, K-Servico was also present who gave special discounts and promos to participants who want to avail Suzuki motorcycles. The Suzuki Raider R150 which is dubbed as the Underbone King was also on display alongside the lovely Suzuki ladies.
